Egypt x Reader ~ The Book ~ Cairo Trilogy
You walked to the elevator to only be disappointed when there was a flimsy paper sign displaying that the elevator was closed for maintenance. You groaned and temporarily debated just going home and getting a hot chocolate. But you needed to get started on reading and take notes it so you could get the paper done in time.
With a sigh you began walking up the stairs to the sixth floor. Your breath coming out harshly with each of the steps and the muscles in your legs burned with each step.
I’m going to die before I get to the sixth floor, stupid elevator being down.
You glanced at the number on the plague on the floor that you were currently on.
Four.
Only two floors left
You slowly plodded up the two floors left and you slowly ambled into the floor.
The first country that you saw on the sign hanging from the ceiling was Turkey, and taking a look to your right you noticed the different countries and in the distance there was Egypts subsection.
Standing in front of the subsection was the friend who suggested the book placing a book back onto the shelf.
You walked over there and raised your hand in greeting to your Egyptian friend.
“Hello Gupta,” you smiled at him as your feet brought you right next to him.
“Hello there,” his dull forest green eyes met yours for a minute causing electricity to race down your spine.
“I assume you are here for the book I suggested,” he looked away and grabbed a book off of the bookshelf.
“Of course,” you gave him a smile which he couldn’t help but a return a tiny one in return.
“You’re opinion is important to me.”
“This is it right here,” he pointed a book slightly to the left of you.
“I recognize the cover,” he responded to your curious glance.
The two of you fell into a comfortable silence as you picked up the book and held it close. The two of you were close enough that these moments of silence were more revealing with their thoughts than hours of talking ever could.
He gave a slight glance to you as he left in his own way to say goodbye.
Your heart fluttered as your watched his retreating figure, the two of you were close. It was inevitable that you would fall for the man that you knew for so long.
You opened the book and it automatically opened to a page in the middle due to a note placed in the middle. You recognized the handwriting as Gupta’s as your eyes scrolled over the words.
A smile spread across your lips after finishing reading those three words.
I love you.

Seven Minutes in Heaven (Egypt)
You furrow your eyebrows, determined to find something interesting. You grab what feels like a chain and it's...
A Golden Ankh Necklace!
You feel your breath catch, knowing full well who's this is. And man, were you scared. Egypt, the guy you had a crush on since Mamma Egypt cared for both of you as kids. Still, you hadn't seen him since Germania took you over. From there you became an English colony so you were very separated for that boy. And he was here! Tonight! And you had to kiss him in a closet!
... you had to KISS him.
"Oh," you say very quietly as Prussia shoves you towards the closet.
"If you're done day-dreaming, he's in there

There was something about him that you liked instantly. The brown eyed man looked at you for a moment longer, and then a slight smile came to his tanned face. "Do you know how special you are?" He had a strange accent to his voice, but you liked it. As you sat up he added, "You're a very ra

“Pretty please Akila!” you begged. “I want to do something for Gupta. It’s his birthday and I want to throw him a feast!” Akila look at you with that concerned look she always when you tell her something. “I’m sorry, but as Queen you are not allowed to leave without bodyguards.” She informed. “But Odion is such a squealer! He’ll tell Gupta everything before I even leave. I want to make it a surprise…” She looks at your depressed face and sighs.
“Alright, you can go.” she heaves. You hug Akila, smiling bright. “And since Master is in his study I can onl

Another Request I totally forgot.
But I’m kinda glad I forgot because I *cough cough* ~super-maya*Cough cough* found a better book than the original one up.
But I should honestly start writing down the requests for these.
I apologize as this is one of my shorter endings but whatevs.
Just realized there are only two countries for this floor. Hawkward. this is not true as I missed Cyprus on the list. So it’s three.
